There has been a recall on certain dirt devil vacuums with a certain batch of turbine heads. Because pieces of plastic can shoot out and cause a laceration hazard. Please click the link for more info.

power switch
the power button is the button behind the bin release under the white handle on front that has the one touch logo and says bin release under the logo.
My dyson's turbine head is acting strangely lately it screams like a banshee and slows down a lot. I'm wondering what's wrong with it and if anyone else has problems with the turbine heads

I've had this Hoover for a couple of weeks and paid $1.00 for it at a garage sale. I haven't used it yet but it's got a light blue bag & hood and the rest is a light Seal Griege color. It's a 2 speed and has no headlight and the serial # is 045196. I would like to know anything about it like...
Well i found a pretty neat little vacuum a few days ago online. It's not here in the USA yet but it's been in Europe and Japan for a little while now. I just think it's kinda cute and would go well with the "baby ball" or my $2.50 DC11 telescope i bought Saturday (5.24.08). Here's a link...

It's a perfectly good vacuum and they set it on fire quite stupid indeed. At least it's well made and wasn't totally broken. If it can survive fire it can survive just about anything!
