    Cordless Riccar Upright!

Electric mowers can weigh 50lbs and no one will care. If a vacuum weighs more than 15 people think it's unusable. You could build a great, high power, cordless that makes a kirby seem light.

    Cordless Riccar Upright!

Cordless vacuums are rare due to the power requirements. A low power dirty air corded vacuum uses 500 watts. A 500 watt hour battery (one which could run at 500 watts for an hour) would weigh about 8lbs and cost at least $200 (so, at vacuum markups that's $500 or more for the consumer). And no...

That's exciting. This might be a battery vacuum I could get behind.

My Review of the Kirby Diamond Edition

Surely even the cheapest bags wouldn't leak a visible amount of dust. Must be something that doesn't seal like it's supposed to.

Cleaning company using Rainbows - what dyson owner missed?

The way they see it: If they're driving out to your house, hoping you're actually there and didn't forget, they want more than $25 of work to do. House cleaners are shockingly expensive. Even when they're not very good.

Cleaning company using Rainbows - what dyson owner missed?

No vacuum on the market today loses 80% of its suction if it's maintained. Certainly not in ten minutes. If they're willing to just lie about that then why believe that they got that dirt in the home. The most irritating thing about vacuum marketing is the constant lying about competitors...

    Vacuum Scent Tabs

I've used the kirby version of these. I'm guessing they're similar but I don't know. They seem to work okay, not great. It seems like they really just mask the smell with more smell.

My Kirby update - a year into ownership...

Am I the only person who really doesn't mind the weight? I carry mine up and down stairs everytime I use it. It's not light, but it's fine. The frustrating part is the hose. It's usually fine, but sometimes you put it back into upright mode and then notice that last cobweb...

My Kirby update - a year into ownership...

I've not had a cord problem. But kudos to you on making them fix it. If I got that much push back I'd just buy a cord online and move on.

    Tried out a Shark!

A whole container full? You should be able to see that kind of dirt being left behind. I think your G6 was broken. I know, that's super helpful. Enjoy the new machine!

Oh Some People! Can You Acutually Believe This?!

There's no way that selling it on eBay is easier than buying bags. So I don't believe he's selling it because of a full bag.

    verilux vacuum

Doubtful of UV claims Apparently, if it did have a strong enough uv light to kill germs you should be concerned about it damaging plastic and rubber items in your home. And you may need to worry about O2 production. I doubt it's powerful enough to work...
