Has anyone here purchased this Battery Power nozzle? I know it priced twice what it should go for, but I 'd like to know how well it works.

How long have you had it? Mine I believe to be a 1954 model. It has the chrome name plate, not the pretty yellow and red like yours. Mine's been in the family since late 60's or very early 70's.

You can't buy filters for the XXX they are not available. This is what I did. The only option I found was to buy a large filter sheet 24" square, by 1/8" thick. Cut it to size. It's reusable it can be hand washed. The downside is that you have to buy this large sheet of filter material and it...

Why don't you try taking to a dry cleaning place that does alterations? I had one replace zippers on several of my jackets, they maybe able to replace a zipper on your vinyl jacket to your vacuum.

You are right. I don't understand why it was painted. Ruined it, in my opinion.

I agree to replace the brushes. I replaced the brushes on my XXX a week ago. They were down to about 3/8". Better to replace the brushes before they wear down to nothing and damage the commutator. If that happens you will be sorry. The new brushes are 1 1/16 of an inch.

About 2 months ago I saw a UPS driver walk up to an iron gate to deliver a package. He rang the bell. When no one came to answer he threw the package over the iron gate. The gate was maybe about 8 feet high.
