I've collected vacuum cleaners since I was a little boy. When I was growing up, I lived in California and my collection actually made it on good day Sacramento. I try not to take in just any machine as it has to have some reason to either stay in my collection or to be used in my home here in Colorado.
What are your dream machines yet to be found?
I think if I was to have a dream machine it would have to be either a Bissell Pureair because my mother had one growing up in the late 90s and early 2000s. Or another machine would be a Bison because well obviously its a crazy rare machine and my granddad actually knew the person who made and designed the vacuum.
What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
One of my earliest memories was riding on my grandmothers sanitaire widetrack when I was a baby. I also Remember nocking over my mothers Bissell pureair and breaking the handle off of it. I remember her coming home with a brand new Eureka Whirlwind in a baby blue color and her scolding me not to touch it.
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
Oh man this is a tough one. Basically you name it, its probably been through my hands at lease once.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
Oh yes, I do all my own work and restorations to all of my machines.
