Any new updates? Have you had a chance to test it out further? I replaced the motor in my C6 epb from the Compact/Tristar distributer. Cleaning well for a 61 year old vacuum.

Walmart also sells them. Worth the money and very versatile. I had found a ShopVac head and it fits the older metal Clarke vacuum perfectly. Just need to find the vacuum end of the hose to fit the Clarke or see if possibly a Filter Queen inlet would work...
