    Should I think about oiling the motor bearing ?

    My Hoover owners manual from 1986 says that the bearings are lubricated for the life of the motor. Anyone know if you should still do it, or just leave them alone as the manual suggests?

    Bag Question!

    I empty out my Hoover type A bags approimately 3 times before they get a hole in them. At that point I put in a new one. I feel comfortable doing it because most of the debris in my bags are from pet hair which doesn't clog the pores the same way fine dust does.
