What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
“Riding” on my aunt's Electrolux canister vacuum. My mom's upright vacuum with the headlight. My dad “repairing” my mom's vacuum. He used a lot of black electrical tape (this was way before duct tape was available).
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
I've owned mainly Hoover and Eureka brands, mostly uprights. My last two have been canister style. The last new canister was a Eureka that barely lasted a year. I decided to go look for an older vacuum that would last. After reviewing and looking around, I discovered my Hoover Celebrity. It was in fantastic condition and came with all of the accessories. I am now on the search for either an upright or a sweeper, like the Regina Electrik-broom or Hoover Handi-Vac.
