    Miele S7 Hose Issue... Again!

I'm glad you were able to sort everything out, Andrew. I love the Leo, that is a very nice shade of yellow. I've really liked the Miele canisters that I've used, I'm hoping that Santa will bring me one this Christmas lol.

    Electrolux Model G

Does anyone have an extra blue model G they'd be willing to sell or possibly trade? I only really need the canister itself, but any other attachments would be nice.

    Hoover Junior 1348

I found this on google news archives, it's a 1977 True Value ad that features the 1348 on sale for only $44.88 with free a set of attachments! http://news.google.com/newspapers?id=t9kVAAAAIBAJ&sjid=9BIEAAAAIBAJ&pg=4230,5740994&dq=hoover-lightweight

    Hoover Junior 1348

That 1348 looks very nice! I'm guessing mine has a replacement bag, although there is a post in the archives that shows a 1348 with the patchwork pattern bag that the hoover convertible 707(?) had I think.

    Hoover Junior 1348

I just love the dirtsearchers! It's too bad they didn't have them here. I wish that the blue and white larks were more common too, I think they're really nice looking vacuums. The grey and black square handled junior in chestermike's pic kind of reminds me of a mini 913 for some reason lol.

    Hoover Junior 1348

I wish I had tools to go with it, but unfortunately they're even rarer than the vacuums themselves. But I have been very impressed with the vacuum so far. It is a lot more powerful than a convertible and it's really nice to vacuum carpeted stairs with it. The only that I wish it had is a longer...

    Hoover Junior 1348

I had been wanting one of these for as long as I've been collecting vacuums, and a fellow collector of mine was cleaning out some of his collection and he sent this to me. I really enjoy using this one and I think it will be one of my favorite vacuums. I've attached a before picture, I will have...

    Kirby Tradition

Here's the envelope with an order form that was inside the package of bags, the package of bags is about as old as the vacuum itself. <a href= title= Kirbyenvelope by casey19883, on Flickr ><img src= http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2475/3635373746_45e846d795_b.jpg width= 791 height= 1024 alt=...

Here's a picture of the vacuum itself, I'll get more photos of it with its boxes and accessories later.

Kirby Manuals I am willing to share

I'd love to see either the 518 or 519 manual, and the one for the sanitronic VII, but it would be very nice if you scanned any of them. I love looking at different kirby manuals.

    Kirby Tradition

My Tradition would've originally had that safety switch, but it was replaced with the more traditional Kirby safety switch. I think only the very early models had that safety switch shown, and they were gone by the spring of 1980.

    Kirby Tradition

I learned that lesson the hard way the other day when I was using the rug renovator with the tradition. The old belt that was in there slipped off on several occasions and it became frustrating pretty fast, I don't know why I didn't think of putting the new belt in there before I started shampooing.

    Kirby Heritage

Great find Andrew! The Heritage One is my favorite of the Heritage/Legend series. It looks like new after you cleaned it up. That fill tube is interesting, I never saw the heritage cloth one before.
