Great I found the serial number. It's 778070 745. According to some posts and pictures from elektricbroomgu the 745 part mean it's from April 5 1977 or 1967. I looked and it does have the spring loaded collar on the top of the bag. I really appreciate that vacman thanks for the comments everyone!

I'm not sure about the collar I'll have to check when I get home. Mine does have some very noisy bearings I plan on tearing into it and seeing if there's anything I can do to fix it. Does anybody have an idea on a year this is from?
