I'm mostly interested in pre-1930 machines, with a particular interest in those built in Cleveland Ohio.
What are your dream machines yet to be found?
A Eureka model 1, 2, 3 or 4 with original bag, A Vacuette Electric, and a complete Premiere Duplex
What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
Just using my grandmother's general electric hand vacuum on upholstery when I was four or five
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
Back in the 1970s I used to be able to pick up all kinds of early machines for their value as aluminum scrap ($2.00-3.00) Almost every vacuum repair and sales shop had a couple hundred ancient trade-ins in the cellar or back room.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
Yes. A few Hoovers, some Scott & Fetzer machines, Eureka straight suction machines, and a bunch of P. A. GEIR
