I have one that I consider a collectible - an Electro Deluxe Hygiene. Very space age and atomic looking. The finish is in amazing shape. It is missing some attachments. I also have two Roomba's I have repaired and use.
What are your dream machines yet to be found?
I would like to refurbish an older Miele and see if they are as good as there reputation.
What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
Mom bought a canister Electrolux. It was very expensive - at least by our standards. She loved that vacuum.
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
There are so many good vacs being tossed out that I find a fixer upper by the curb and use it till it is no longer fixable. They are cheaper vacs - Eureka often - and have worked well for me. I have a Shark now that surprised me by how quiet and strong it is. I don't fool with Dyson's. They are too tricky to fix and often unfixable for me.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
I have repaired various vacuum cleaners I have owned over the years and repaired found ones to save them from the trash.
