Want to clean and lubricate an Elecrrolux Super J motor

How hard is it to lubricate a motor from a Super J. I know how to take it out, I'm just curious if I have to tear the entire thing down to lubricate it. Also if I do are all the fan blades keyed so I don't put them on in the wrong position?

    Golden J motor issue

Does anyone know the difference between the 2 different length armature? I really want to try and order one.

    Golden J motor issue

So it turns out the Armature is shot, and one of the brushes is rounded off the other looks ok. I found a guy on eBay selling NOS armature. Do I need the long or short armature? Also can someone direct me to a place that has brushes?

    Golden J motor issue

I picked up a near mint golden J off Facebook marketplace for $50. When I got it home, I plugged it in the motor spun right up to high speed like an electrolux should then all the sudden it slowed down then got very noisy and I could smell it burning. Is this a symptom of needing new brushes or...

Trying to restore my Grandmas Old Electrolux 1205

Hey Guys I tore the vacuum down, the good news is it's not too bad inside. I ran power to the motor and it ran smooth like it should, the resistor block looks to be ok.. The problem is when the vacuum was all together I would turn it on and the check bag light would come on and the motor...

Might have bought a Golden Jubilee hose by accident

I have a vinyl hose that I use. I just wanted to know if I should take care of it because it's the match. Ive heard of people coating the inside of the hose with flex seal?

Might have bought a Golden Jubilee hose by accident

So my Golden Jubilee came with a 4A nozzle instead of the proper PN 2 and it had a broken throat so I went on a search for a PN2. I just got one in the mail from eBay. It came with a wand and hose too, which I was hoping to use for my 1205 restoration. But I was looking at pictures online and I...

    Electrolux "Perfect" Bags

I was reading through one of the threads and someone made mention of Electrolux Perfect bags, and they're hepa filtered and leak no dust. I saw Vac America mentioned. Are these them? https://onlinevacshop.com/product/electrolux-style-c-hepa-vacuum-bags-9-pack-by-v-a-c/

Trying to restore my Grandmas Old Electrolux 1205

Turning it on I was actually considering plugging it in, because I think it would run too. There's a video of someone trying to deliberately kill a 1205 in YouTube and its nearly impossible. What kept me from doing it is all the water that came out of the cord winder. I was worried about that...

Electrolux PN-2 Power Nozzle broken part

I struck out finding a "Throat" online, so just to get it going I put high strength crazy glue on it, and then once that dried I rubbed a little white 100% silicone across the cracks. Hopefully it holds for a while. Ill try the Aerus shop on Monday. But in the mean time I want to try and find...
