What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
Using my Uncles Henry HVR200 (1992). Uncle unboxing his 2003 push switch Henry.

Dropping my nanas 92 Henry and breaking one of the latches (grandad used screw to latch it back onto the drum xD)

Dad giving me my first Henry, a yellow 1995 HVR200, when I was 10 or 11 years old, I still have it:)

Going to the local market with my family and finding an Andyvac NV200, with a broken side latch, haha!
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
Loads, I use to repair and refurbish Numatic vacuum cleaners, however, from my personal collection, My Numatic NV200 from 1982 has been restored back to its original state with the most effort put into it.

When I acquired it in February 2021, it unfortunately came with the wrong bucket, filter, cable+plug and was also missing its rare none-outlined eyes and rating sticker. For a long time my NV200 sat in the loft untouched until January 2022.

On eBay I found the correct 1982 base with chrome castors and none-outlined eyes, next I needed the cable+plug, that wasnt too hard to find, I managed to get one from a HVC joblot. Now all I needed to source was its metal filter and rating sticker, well it just happened that collector was getting rid of an NV200 (from 1983), I bought it and got the metal filter and rating sticker from it and then sold the machine on again to another collector. It took 14 months to complete, Im rather pleased with the outcome. You can find a video of it below
